I want to say thank you to everyone for your continued prayers for our little girl. She was awake and alert this morning when I went to see her. They were unable to lower her oxygen support yesterday, but we are hopeful for more improvement soon. Aunt Lacy is coming over this afternoon, so I am sure she will have a long talk with Miss Emerson about how to be a Drama Queen the right way! Most of all, we want to make sure that she is healthy and comfortable. With my time at the hospital drawing to a close, the reality of going home without our little girl hit me hard. Balancing Charlie, healing my own body from surgery and getting back up to the hospital to see Emerson on a regular basis seems like it will be so hard. I just pray that God gives me wisdom on how to do this in the best way for everyone! I will continue to post updates as we know more. Thanks again for all of your love and support.
