Emmy's Special Day

Last Saturday, friends and family joined us as we baptized our little girl! It was a beautiful day and a very special one, as we dedicated her life back to The One that gave her to us. Emerson, daddy and I love you and are so proud to be your parents. Keep your eyes focused on Jesus and He will lead you down His path!

This is one of my favorite shots from the day. I will add more when I get them loaded...but I couldn't wait on this one!

Reagan's Birthday Party

Charlie's friend Reagan - from Ms. Eva's class - invited Charlie to her birthday party just as the summer was ending! The party was held at the Noah's Ark splash pad. What fun!

My Very First Bow

Emerson went with us to take Charlie for a haircut and Gitta and Maria, the ladies at the shop, just couldn't get enough of her. Gitta and Maria have been cutting my family's hair since I was in elementary school! We were all laughing at the fact that her hair just stands STRAIGHT up and I mentioned that I couldn't wait to find a bow that would actually stay in. With that, Maria produced this tiny bow and stuck it right in! I was so excited that I bought two!

On the way home Charlie said, "I like Emmy's new beautiful bow. She looks like a real little girl now!" I almost wrecked the car I was laughing so hard!
