Emerson is quite the explorer and super proficient at ducking in and out from under things. The other day I was cooking in the kitchen and realized it had gotten very quiet. That always scares a mommy of two! I headed out to see what was up and this is what I found...

Breakfast with Santa

Seven years ago Mimi began the tradition of taking her grandchildren to Pine Forest for Breakfast with Santa. It is a tradition that I love and that I am so glad my children get to be a part of! Although it was total chaos the whole time, we wouldn't have missed it for the world! Beware...this is a long one!

Christmas, Christmas Time is Here!

Decorating for Christmas was a challenge this year with two sets of grabby fingers wanting to "help" mommy, but I was able to finally get things out to bring the holidays to life for our family!

Thanksgiving Day Parade

It was a intimate Thanksgiving for us this year because my siblings celebrated with their in-laws. Chad and I decided that we wanted to take the kids to the Houston Thanksgiving Day Parade. Mimi and Papa decided to join us, so we got up early and headed downtown. While it wasn't anywhere close to the Macy's parade...it made for a fun morning together!

Georgia turns 3!

Our friend Georgia turned 3 at the end of November. She invited Charlie and Emerson to her carnival style birthday party! The kids had a great time playing, riding the train and eating tons of candy! Happy bithday Georgia!!
